The environmental mobile unit provides Houston Independent School District nurses with the additional space, equipment, and personnel they need to offer healthcare, asthma management education, and lead poisoning prevention services to students and their families to enable them to participate fully in school, avoid health emergencies, and enjoy a higher quality of life.
