Transportation Program
The Rodie Transportation Program provides short-term transportation assistance to eligible individuals who need help getting to non-emergency medical appointments within Harris County. This program is designed to support individuals who have no other transportation options available.
Program Overview
The Rodie Transportation Program offers free, one-time transportation assistance for qualifying medical appointments. It is intended to serve as a service of last resort when no other transportation resources are available.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Rodie Transportation Program, applicants must meet all the following criteria:
• Be 59 years of age or younger
• Be a resident of Harris County
• Require transportation for a non-emergency medical appointment
• Appointment location must be within Harris County
• Have no other transportation options available (service of last resort)
Program Guidelines
• Availability is subject to program capacity and eligibility verification
• Applicants will be asked to verify residency, age, and appointment details.
• Transportation assistance is free of charge
• Assistance is provided on a one-time basis only
• The program does not provide transportation for emergencies
• Approval is not guaranteed and depends on eligibility and available resources.
