HDHHS Expands H1N1 Vaccination to Public

The Houston Department of Health and Human Services (HDHHS) is expanding H1N1 vaccinations from high risk groups to anyone wanting protection against the flu.

HDHHS will offer the vaccines on a first come, first served basis at seven sites on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The vaccination sites are:

  • La Nueva Casa De Amigos Health Center, 1809 North Main, 77009
  • Lyons Health Center, 5602 Lyons, 77020
  • Magnolia Health Center, 7037 Capitol, 77011
  • Northside Health Center, 8523 Arkansas, 77093
  • Sunnyside Multi-Service Center, 4605 Wilmington, 77051

NEW > January 15, 2010 update

As of the close of business on January 15, 2010, the Acres Homes Multi-Service Center and Southwest Multi-Service Center are no longer offering the H1N1 vaccines. HDHHS will continue to assess the flow at its vaccination sites and inform the public when any changes are made to these schedules.
