HDHHS sets open enrollment for family planning, maternity, well child services at health centers

The Houston Department of Health and Human Services (HDHHS) now sponsors open enrollment for its family planning, maternity and well child services.
Applicants can participate in walk-in certifications to become eligible for the services.
Applicants will need to present photo identification and documents providing proof that they reside in Texas. They will also need to present proof of income, insurance, marital status and dependents or household composition.
The weekday schedule for walk-in certifications is:
- La Nueva Casa De Amigos Health Center, 1809 N. Main
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Lyons Health Center, 5602 Lyons
Mondays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesdays-Fridays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Magnolia Health Center, 7037 Capitol
Mondays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesdays, 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.;
Fridays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Northside Health Center, 8523 Arkansas
Mondays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesdays-Fridays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Sunnyside Health Center, 9314 Cullen
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - West End Health Center, 190 Heights Blvd.
Mondays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.;
Wednesdays and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
