The Houston Department of Health and Human Services (HDHHS) will sponsor Saturday walk-in certifications in June and July 14 for preventive health services offered at its health centers citywide.

Eligibility certifications for family planning, maternity, dental and children health services are set from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following dates:

• June 16, Southwest Multi-Service Center, 6400 High Star
• June 23, Magnolia Health Center, 7037 Capitol Avenue,
• June 30, Sunnyside Health Center, 9414 Cullen Blvd.
• July 14, Southwest Multi-Service Center, 6400 High Star

Those interested in obtaining certification for the services need to take proof of income, address, family composition (dependents), insurance, if any, and photo identification to the walk-in sessions.

HDHHS sets Saturday certifications to facilitate access to those who are unable to register for health services on weekdays.
