The Texas Gulf Coast Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Coalition will sponsor two free presentations about lead poisoning at 2 p.m. October 18 at the Shriners Hospital for Children-Houston, 6977 Main Street.

Judy Henry, co-director of the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program at the Texas Department of Health (TDH), will discuss “How Harmful is Lead?” Ella De Leon, TDH epidemiologist, will present “Year 2000 – How Many Texas Children Were Lead Poisoned?”
